Happy New Year And Bring On 2015

Happy New Year!  2015 is finally here!

What are your aspirations for 2015 and how are you empowering them?   When I thought about my aspirations for 2015, I dug deep at  my experiences in 2014 for lessons I could bring into the new year.

Looking Back At 2014

I looked back at 2014 with a lot of gratitude for the blessings of new friendships made, new opportunities that came my way, the spiritual growth that I built through my experiences, important lessons learnt and an even stronger bond with the family.  The Tarot year card for 2014 was the Chariot, the 7th card in a Tarot deck, The Chariot is a card representing victory and success in achieving goals through sheer determination and focusedness.  The card urged me then to strive for success  through self discipline, determination and the courage to step up and assume accountability for my life and my passions.   2014 being  a year 7 in Numerology urged me not to act impulsively when confronted by issues but to galvanize my thoughts  with proper evaluation of the repercussions and impact of my actions.  I was so grateful for the times I was guided to step back and reassess the way I got to my goals.  In a year when I juggled my full time career in Marketing and Public Relations, with my business as an intuitive consultant and teacher, my training in boxing and Muay Thai and my hobby as a freelance fight journalist,  I was forced to look at where best to invest my time and energy, and make the right choices to ensure that I took care of the people around me as best as I took care of myself.

Looking Forward To 2015

So here are my perspectives about 2015:

Year Numerology

The year is governed by the number 8 in numerology.   8 is the number of executive power, ambition, opportunities, abundance.  8 is the number that urges one to dream big and turn these dreams into reality.  8 asks that you harness the right resources to create your own opportunities.  8 is about making astute financial plans and leveraging the  right financial opportunities. The number fans the flames of bold decision-making based on good judgement, confidence and the determination to attain one's goals.   Finally, the number 8 forces me to leave all negative aspects of my past so that I can be ready to tread on a journey of self -discovery, embrace new growth and approach every challenge with a can-do attitude.

Strength In  Tarot

In tandem with the numerological 8 influence, the Tarot year card for 2015 is the Strength card, which is the 8th card in the Major Arcana of the Tarot deck.  Strength is a card reminding us of the power of human will, determination and the tenacity of the inner spirit.  You are advised to harness the traits of this card as you approach 2015, and know that sometimes, soft persuasion in the face of challenges is more effective than brute force and aggressive confrontation.

Year Of The Goat

In about a month and the half, we will be welcoming the year of the goat. The 8th animal in the Chinese zodiac.  Goats are gentle creatures known to coexist very well with men and other animals.  They have a determined streak and their tenacity is second to none,  Have you seen  goats scaling treacherous mountains to hunt for food?  That's the tenacity you will need to leverage when you maneuver the challenges of 2015.

Full Moon In Cancer

The first full moon of the year appears around 5 January, in Cancer.  The full moon is a time of manifesting your goals and with this full moon, powerful energies are at work to support you on this quest.  The Cancer full moon urges you to tap your inner wisdom to make the right choices that could influence your desired outcomes.  You will find that you will need to dig deep and surface every sinew of insecurities, confront them and allow your intuitive sense to point you in the right direction to your goals.

Sun In Capricorn

Until 20th January, the Sun is in Capricorn and it fuels your ambitions to turn your dreams into reality and attain your goals.  The 8 numerology will fan the flames of this ambitions during this period.  As long as you work towards your goals leveraging conventional wisdom, you should be on your way to getting what you have set your mind to achieve.

Mercury Retrograde

Mercury goes retrograde from 21st January to 31st January.   In case you do not know what Mercury retrograde mean, please refer to my previous blog post.  Do not hide in the closet in the face of mercury retrograde. See it as an opportunity to reassess everything you are doing to get to your goals. In fact, you might have to re-evaluate your goals and then re-chart your journey to get to your destination.  Do not allow your fear of Mercury Retrograde to cast doubts on what you can achieve.

Day Numerology

Finally, 1 January 2015 is numerologically governed by 1.  A New Year always bodes a brand new start for you.  If you had spent time thinking about your New Year resolutions, it is time to put them into action. What's your resolution?  My resolution for this new year, is to focus on goals that bring me the greatest fulfillment and to power these goals with the courage to follow through on my passions.

So there you go, definitely a colossal amount of things to ponder on as you prepare to confront the new year.  I hope my perspectives are useful in helping you maneuver your 2015.

Here's wishing you many blessings of sunshine and laughter for the new year.

Effectively Managing Work Family And Me During This Full Moon InCapricorn

Blessed Full Moon everyone!  I love the fact that Full Moon is the time I manifest my goals and bring to fruition whatever intention I had set for myself.

Setting My Intentions At The New Moon

When I entered the New Moon a few weeks ago, I was forced to confront some residual resentment from the past.  I set my intention then to "plant seeds of joy" once I  let go of that past hurt and resentment. I moved past those old wounds and set out to be aware of what fulfilled me, create my own opportunities and  build my own happiness.   So, as I walked towards this  Full Moon, I strived to create a harmonious balance between my family life, work life and my business.  I worked very hard to create "my abundance".

Juggling Work, Business And Family

When I arrived at this Full Moon in Capricorn, I pushed myself to put 200% into everything I did.  I did not believe in barriers, and my take on life was "never say never"... almost like that resilient mountain goat that represented the zodiac sign of Capricorn.  Have you ever seen how mountain goats climb the mountains to hunt for food without the fear of any obstacles? I refused to allow any obstacles to get in the way of my effort to create abundance.

Juggling the demands of family life, a career and a business was no easy feat.  However,  aided by the energies of this Full Moon, it had given me the impetus to conquer these challenges with a "I want it all" attitude.

Being Present

I know however that I was increasingly driving the hubby crazy with my ambitions and high expectations of myself.  He had been worried about the way I had been driving myself very hard with a punishing schedule of multiple commitments from endless work meetings, managing my marketing team, back to back Tarot and Numerology readings, and taking care of my family. Unconsciously, I attempted to be Super Mum, Super Wife, corporate hot shot and Wonder Woman all rolled into one.  However, those who mattered, really just wanted me to be present. The hubby wanted me to stick to my promise of putting everything down for that date night once a week. The boy wanted me to just sit by him from time to time when he was doing his homework, so that he could tell me about his day at school.    The team at work just wanted part of the old me back when they enjoyed "happy lunches" with me.

Clearly, the Full Moon cast light on the fact that I needed to spend time nurturing relationships with the people who mattered by being present for them.  I was not surprised.  These relationships were so important to me because I would not be as successful as I am today without these people who mattered. I finally saw the full reflection of the Full Moon from what sat opposite - the Sun in Cancer.  As you know, the watery sign of Cancer influences emotions, intuition, and relationships. I could not run away from the fact that as I worked hard to build my successes in my career and my business, I needed to remember that I could be successful only with the love and support of the most important people in my life.

Taking Care Of Me

The Full Moon in Capricorn also illuminated the fact that sometimes, I needed to be more down -to -earth and attempt to keep my ambitions in check. Yes, I wanted to live life with a "I want it all" attitude, but if I did not spend time taking care of me, then there would not be any point in having it all.

So this is what I am manifesting during this Full Moon - I resolve  to be present for my loved ones by putting as much time aside for them as possible whilst taking care of me.  The new entries in my diary looks something like this, "Date night with my man - Friday.  Happy lunch with my team - Thursday.  Long chat with the boy - every night.  Visit Mom and Dad - Sunday. Personal training - Monday to Friday. Absolutely no Tarot and Numerology readings on weekends if possible."

Making a conscious effort to take care of me,  I have transformed  my lifestyle with a healthier diet and a 5-days-a-week fitness regime that included kickboxing.  I believe that by being fit and healthy, it will ensure that I meet the demands of work, business and family life even more effectively.

"Taking good care of you means that the people in your life recieve what's best of you and not what's left of you." ~ Carl Bryan

Think Again If You Hope To Gallop Away Into Unchartered Territories During This Full Moon In Sagittarius

This is it folks! Tomorrow, we welcome the full moon in all its fiery glory that wants you to get off your ass and step into a world of new expansive experiences and adventures.  All those months that you had been afraid to try something new, the full moon in Sagittarius is beckoning you to do it.  You  might want to get a complete makeover, take up diving, travel to places you have never been before, learn a new sport like kickboxing (I did! ), drink a bowl of Mum's Chinese herbal soup ( Yuck! My poor husband did!) and generally just take some risks and get out of your comfort zone.  Yes spontaneity rules at this full moon.

This full moon sees your streak of rebelliousness creeping out on you.  You can no longer tolerate mundanity and might impulsively ride on a  galloping horse towards unchartered territories just for the hell of it.

Do remember though, that this full moon is governed by the duality of the half man half horse sign of Sagittarius and requires you to reassess this thirst for adventure and your devil-may-care attitude with a more balanced attitude.  This is particularly necessary at a time when Neptune is in retrograde for the next few months.  Be ultra careful and rethink the difference between the need to take on the world with bold confidence versus your deluded sense of adventure which could be a guise for escapism.

During this full moon, you might work up the courage and passion to speak your mind and say it like it is...no holds barred. Whatever you had been repressing within you in the past, it is going to be hurled like a projectile vomit on the most deserving idiot who had unwittingly stepped across your path and conveniently blocked your access to your goals and dreams.

Again, you need to be ultra careful here because you are in the period when Mercury, the planet governing communication, is in retrograde.  So you really don't want to tell that a**hole of a colleague to go f#%^ off and end up with a venti-size cup of Starbucks' caramel frappucino aimed directly at your face.

Otherwise, do enjoy the glorious full moon and screw what they say about the adverse implications of this full moon in Sagittarius falling on the inauspicious date of Friday the 13th.  Frankly, I think this Friday the 13th is going to be a great day...big beautiful full moon and all.  Numerologically it is governed by number 8.  It is a day where that big project you have been working on can take off successfully as long as you have big ideas backed by practical plans, plus a large dose of courage to get it off the ground.  You are advised to grow your skills and experience by learning from those more skillful and more experienced than you are.  Harness the right support critical to your gameplan.

Guide Your Relationship With Your Intuition During This Full Moon In Scorpio

Full Moon In Scorpio Sun In Taurus

14 May 2014.  The full moon is in Scorpio and the Sun is in Taurus.  It is fabulous timing for me to use this full moon to discuss the topic of RELATIONSHIPS, because I have just celebrated my 13th wedding anniversary and my husband's 50th birthday.  Indeed, this full moon forced me to think about what I am bringing to our marriage, how I can inject more romance in our relationship and what else I would need to do to walk this journey hand in hand with him, through more wedding anniversaries to come.  Yes, this full moon in Scorpio will make you do the same - rethink about where you are in your own relationship.

You might  be in the throes of creating a balance between the need to shake up your relationship in that "make or break" moment and your need  to hold on to some semblance of emotional security.  This would mean an increased intensity in the emotional flux that you could be experiencing within you,

Emotions Run Deep

This full moon, you could expect emotions to run really deeply when you set your intentions to connect even more with your loved ones.  This would be the time you might think about how much trust you have in your partner, how much passion you might have lost over the years together, or how to take the relationship up another level.  As the full moon brings out all that emotional flux within your heart, you are reminded that this full moon, like all full moons, would be the right time to bring. your intentions to fruition and whisper a prayer asking for the courage to finally accept any transformational experiences spurred by relationship upheavals.  Perhaps you might want to say a prayer for the strength let go of behavioral patterns that impact your current relationships.  You might also finally decide to let go of a past relationship that had not served you well.  And if like me, you have been married for quite a number of years, you might decide to work on putting the passion and romance back in your relationship.  I am definitely doing that during this full moon.  Hence, in anticipation of this, we had just spent a glorious week celebrating our 13th wedding anniversary in the gorgeous island of Sri Lanka.

Be Guided By Your Intuition

This is after all a full moon governed by the element of water.  So when you are questioning where you stand in your relationship, or attempting to make sense of the emotional upheavals that you are experiencing, my advice would be to let your intuition guide the direction of your relationship.

This full moon falls within the week of the Summer Solstice celebrations too when  the energy of growth and abundance is pulsating in the air.  So my prayers for you this full moon is that you might manifest a relationship with your loved one that is filled with abundant love, laughter, trust, opened communication and understanding.

Full Moon In Libra Beckons You To Focus On Positive Relationships

Happy Full Moon everyone!  As usual, the full moon welcomes the closing of that door behind you against what did not serve you in the past,  to open the door to a new beginning filled with abundant possibilities that could set you on a journey towards a more positive life.

It is not a coincidence that while we open our hearts and minds to transformation during this Full Moon, we are also in the the midst of Holy Week, preparing for Easter this weekend.  And we all know that at Easter, we celebrate rebirth and  renewal after a period of spiritual cleansing.

During this Full Moon in Libra, you will make this your cause -  You will resolve to release, cleanse and declutter that entire emotional gunk to embrace new perspectives on love and interpersonal relationships.  Yes!  You will cut the cords to negative and toxic relationships that had weighed you down for a long time. Instead, you will focus on maintaining positive relationships.  As you attempt to unveil the sunshine behind the cloud of past relationship issues, remember that the way to do so is not through readjusting your thoughts about these relationships but to  approach it from the heart.  That means, whatever you need to say to people who had hurt you before, be prepared to seek emotional closure by saying what you need to say with feeling and from the heart so that you can move on.  Similarly, with whom you hope to manifest the type of positive relationship that you want, approach it with heart energy and express how you feel with authenticity.

Be conscious about using too much mind energy to analyze the ”why, when and what for” of a past relationship issue, wasting time rationalizing what needs to happen or should have happened.  Instead,  you should be guided by your heart, to muster courage and resolve to remove your ego, so that you can let it all go.

Today is also governed numerologically by the  number 8. The energy of an 8 day will inspire you to make big and bold decisions.  So harness this energy to courageously make that bold decision to let go of the past so that you can embark on a new beginning towards better and more harmonious relationships in the future.

"Let go. Why do you cling to pain? There is nothing you can do about the wrongs of yesterday. It is not yours to judge. Why hold on to the very thing which keeps you from hope and love?" ~ Leo Buscaglia

Message From The Hermit During The Full Moon In Virgo

Full Moon In Virgo

Full moon blessings everyone!  This full moon in Virgo  falls on 17 March at about 1.08am Singapore time.  Every month, I honour the full moon with meditation whereby I would think about what I wanted to manifest at that time.  With this full moon in Virgo, I wanted to manifest more energy, wisdom and the ability to manage my time wisely with a good balance between multiple commitments as I mentored my Tarot protégés.  So what about you?  What are you intending to manifest during this full moon?

This full moon in Virgo encourages you to think about what skills, talents and resources you can bring to the table, to help and support your loved ones, friends and the community.  This full moon aims to bring out your humanitarian side.  However, just be cautious about  the "Virgoan" tendency to spend more time thinking and analysing about whether you truly had the skills, experience and resources to contribute to the community or support the people around you.  When the full moon in Virgo calls for you to give back, or to render generous help and support, do not just stand by the side in an attempt to play safe just because your over sensitive nature had cast self-doubts on your own capabilities to do so.   What you should do is to stop worrying about whether you do indeed have time and energy, stop criticizing your own capabilities and be opened to the fact that the Universe has given you much with the expectation that you use these gifts to pay it forward.

17 March 2014 - Day 9 In Numerology

Coincidentally, as the full moon in Virgo brings out the humanitarian side of you on the 17th, the day is governed by 9 in numerology.   The 9 energy sees you over-wrought with unfinished business that you do need to seek closure to.  You might need to spend some time decluttering.  Honestly, if you want to  do everything in your capacity to serve the needs of others, how can you do so effectively with baggage in your heart?   So do let go, move forward, embrace new challenges, and spend that time and energy on people that truly need you and will appreciate your help.

9 is also the number of the Hermit card in Tarot.

A Full Moon Message From The Hermit

The Hermit card is associated with Virgo.  So the energies of this full moon might put you through some introspective soul-searching whereby you could spend some time meditating and honoring your inner wisdom.  When you can do that, you would be able to shine that light from within you to light the path for others before you.

Perhaps, the Hermit has a special message for you this full moon.  Whether in the context of home, work, or your Tarot practice if you are a reader, the full moon in Virgo might be calling you to support others through objective advice, patient guidance, and dedicated mentoring efforts.

You know what?  This is the perfect message for myself at a time when I am wondering if I am truly effective as a mentor to my Tarot proteges and my team at work.  It is also a timely message when I started to doubt myself as a mother attempting to provide the right guidance to my son.

Cosmic Sparks On Valentine's Day

14 February 2014

Blessed Full Moon and a Happy Valentine’s Day to all of you!  For those who had been celebrating the Lunar New Year of the Horse in the last 2 weeks, today marks the 15th and final day of the Lunar New Year celebrations.  When I was very young, Mum used to tell me that the 15th day of the Lunar New Year was the Chinese version of Valentine’s Day. Young Chinese maidens looking for a soulmate would throw tangerines down the river in the hope of seeing the reflection of their future husbands in the water.   I did that when I was a young and slightly cherubic teenager looking for a boyfriend.  The cop on his bicycle nearby stopped me in my tracks and warned me that he would give me a ticket for littering if I did not get on my way.  So I never got to see who my future husband was then….hmmm…if only I was prepared for who he is now. (Just kidding, honey!)

Full Moon In Leo

Now, back to the topic at hand.  Astrologically, the Full Moon sits in Leo today, while the Sun sits in Aquarius.  Dynamic energy all around!   With the Full Moon in Leo, you are encouraged to embrace life with energy and optimism.  Pursue that person who has a special place in your heart, with enthusiasm and passion.  If you are single, go ahead and chat up that girl who lives across the street whom you had been eyeing, or ask that good looking bloke in the office out for a drink.  Yes it is a Friday!, Why not make it an early after-work drink!.  If you are in a relationship, let your sense of spontaneity take you on an adventurous ride full of rich experiences with your other half.  Do something different, Go somewhere different.  Woo her differently and surprise her.

"Till I loved, I never lived enough." ~ Emily Dickinson

Sun In Aquarius

With the Sun in Aquarius, you might be working on plans to woo and surprise her, or write and re-write your chat-up lines.  However, when it comes to really doing it, you might spend more time scrambling for that piece of paper in your sweaty palms, or rehearsing your lines in the closet than actually doing it!   You might be thinking on one hand, you would love to sweep her up to give her the biggest kiss ever, but that little nagging thing in your head is stopping you just in case she mistook your gesture for you asking for her hand in marriage!

"Thoughts are like an open ocean.  They can either move you forward within its waves, or sink you under deep into its abyss." ~ Anthony Liccione

Mercury Retrograde

To make matters worse, when you have finally summoned your courage to whisper that sweet nothing in her ear, you might address her in the name of your ex-girlfriend.  When you send her that beautiful bouquet of red roses, there might be a possibility that the delivery man might make a mistake with her home address.  When you hold her hands and tell her “Darling, would you like to have a vegetarian dinner tonight?”  She might burst into tears thinking that you are hinting that she is fat.

And why is that so?  It is because we are still in the period of Mercury Retrograde!

"You never know, when a moment and a few sincere words can have an impact on life." ~ Zig Ziglar

Day 5 in Numerology

Numerologically, today is governed by 5.  Being overly partial to numerology, here is my advice.  The vibrational energy of day 5 is encouraging you to just go with the flow. No one can fault you for your spontaneity.  Even a home-prepared picnic at the park while watching kids fly their kites in the evening, can be so romantic.   If the relationship is newish, take on challenges with courage.  Treat each circumstance as an opportunity presented by the Universe.  Life and Love equally will always have risks.  Instead of focusing on the risks, think of these as an adventurous journey of growth.

“All growth is a leap in the dark, a spontaneous, unpremeditated act without benefit of experience.” ~ Henry Miller

Valentine’s Day Tarot Spread

I have covered Astrology, Numerology and now I think I will inject a bit of Tarot into this blog post – my favorite subject.  It is Valentine’s Day so here is my Valentine’s Day Tarot Spread that I would like to share.

1)  Where do we want to be with this relationship?
2) What barriers are there to our current relationship?
3)  How can I remove these barriers and work towards improving our relationship?

Leave a comment to tell me your love stories.  If you are trying out this spread, let me know what you had gleaned from it.  Most importantly, always remember this...

"Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength.  Loving someone deeply gives you courage." ~ Lao Tzu

The Gift Of Light At Christmas

Year End Festivities
I am looking forward to the year-end holidays when I can finally enjoy some bonding time with the family.  I have had such an exciting year which seemed to be filled with a never ending list of new discoveries and learning. So, I am planning some quiet time with both my men.  My year-end celebrations always include lots of food, presents, and lots of time spent with the extended family and our closest friends.  This year, the air of cheeriness, and all that yuletide joy and laughter seemed to be dampened somewhat by my thoughts of those still suffering from the ravages of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines.  So I had decided to do Tarot readings at a couple of corporate Christmas events and private parties closer to Christmas, to help raise funds for the victims of Typhoon Haiyan.  I hope that those affected by the typhoon can find some light soon.
Celebrating Light
The year-end merry making is very special to me also because I love festivities that transcend racial, religious and geographical barriers.  While my Pagan friends from all over the world celebrate Yule or Winter Solstice on 21 December, as a Roman Catholic, I celebrate Christmas on 25 December together with my friends and family.  The greatest thing about these celebrations is that, the common thread that binds us all is actually the celebration of the rebirth of light, letting go of the past, the embrace of hope and the triumph of good.
This Christmas, I celebrate the gift of light.  With all that effort put into developing my intuitive skills, I hope to always use them to bring light to the people around me.  When I review the experiences I have been through all year, I say a prayer of gratitude for the light they have brought me because of how these experiences have shaped me.  When I read about the devastation that the typhoon had caused in the Philippines, and the tragedy that had befallen the thousands trapped when the roof of a Latvian mall collapsed, I prayed that those suffering may be touched by healing light soon.
The Christmas Tree Tarot Spread
So as I celebrate light, I created a Christmas Tree Tarot spread which I urge you to try this season if you are looking at how you could find your own gift of light.  I used this spread on a client Daniella yesterday, who is currently negotiating a job offer with a big company here in Singapore.  With her permission, I would like to demonstrate the spread in practice here, using the Radiant Rider Waite Tarot deck updated by Virginijus Poshkus and published by US Games Systems.  I have deliberately captured the entire Tarot reading here for Daniella in verbatim.  That job opportunity is potentially Daniella’s new light at the end of a tunnel.  You see, she had spent the last 8 years as an entrepreneur.  Running her own company, while fulfilling, was an up and down experience.  Sometimes she made money, sometimes, she spent months “completely financially dry”.  She had never considered working for someone else, until recently, when a conversation with the hiring manager of this company had planted a seed of hope in her mind.  So this is a Tarot reading for Daniella to find new light.

1)    You, in your search for light
2)    Where can you find that glimpse of light?
3)    What is blocking that light?
4)    How can you illuminate your journey towards your goal?
5)    Lessons from the past
6)    Lessons from the present
7)    Advice for the future

The Christmas Tree Tarot Spread

You in your search for light  - The 4 of Cups Reversed

The 4 of a Cups Reversed suggests that while a job offer may have been presented to you, you are experiencing inner conflicts about whether it is the right opportunity for you.  You may be too focused on your own issues, like what you may need to sacrifice when you accept this job. In your case, as you have been running your own company for years, this job offer has posed a dilemma about whether you should give up on being an entrepreneur to join this new company as an employee.  You may also have doubts about the job itself, for example, whether you will have the necessary resources to do the job well, or whether the hiring manager will meet your salary expectations.

Where can you find that glimpse of light? - Ace of Pentacles

A new job opportunity has been presented to you.  This opportunity has the potential to help you to manifest your goals and provide you with the income that you need.

What's blocking that light? - Temperance Reversed

You are dealing with a hiring manager who is proving to be uncooperative or you may feel as though both your interests are in conflict.  Both yours and the hiring manager's expectations are not aligned, hence there is a feeling of disharmony every time you engage with each other in a conversation.

How can you illuminate your journey towards your goal? - 10 of Swords Reversed

The 10 of Swords reversed encourages you to let go of your attachment to the concept of "being your own boss".  You will need to accept that that period of running your own company will come to an end so that you can rechart a new journey for yourself, and embrace a new career ahead.   This is a period of difficult mental transformation that is necessary for your career growth. You have been avoiding the potential outcome of having to wind down your company, and hoping to keep it in some shape or form just in case this stint with the new company does not work out.  However, these are negative perceptions that reside in your mind which will only serve to restrict your own growth. The only way to attain your goal and embrace a better career ahead of you, is to let go, and have the conviction to turn this new job opportunity into a huge career success.

Lessons from the past - 6 of Pentacles Reversed

Six of Pentacles reversed suggests that you have realized that by running your own company in the past, you had earned less than the amount of effort you had put into that company.  You felt discontented about this lack of balance and are now prepared to  ask for what you are worth in terms of salary, as you put across your remuneration package to the hiring manager on the negotiating table.

Lessons from the present - 9 of Pentacles

In your present circumstance, the 9 of Pentacles indicates that you have come to a realization that you can only enjoy the good life only when you have worked very hard to attain it.  You are hoping for the day you can afford to indulge or pamper yourself but you know that you will need to out in extra effort to be able to afford to do so.  The 9 of Pentacles may also indicate that you are aware that the fruits of your labour can only be reaped when you take that effort to plough the  field,  plant the seeds, nurture and tend to your plot as meticulously as possible.  And while you may be close to reaching your goal, you know you still have far to go to reach it.  So, you may want to stick to the plan and continue putting in that hard work to reach that goal. In this case, this card is advising you to keep up with the effort to engage the hiring manager, persuade him to see the value of your skills and experience, and convince him of the value that your direction can bring to the company.

Advice for the future - Knight of Cups

The Knight advises you to get ready to embark on this new job that has the potential to tap your creative talents. You need to embrace the new job with an ambition to make a positive difference to the company with your plans and new ideas.  The knight will inspire you in your new job to turn your big dreams into reality, if only you are brave enough to accept that invitation to embark on this new journey in your career.

Gift Of New Light

My client is still negotiating her remuneration package with the hiring manager at the date this blog post was published.  So to help her along on her journey to find new light, I presented her with the gift of a green calcite pendant, lovingly created under my other brand that is focused on crystal gemstones for healing, Sun Goddess Gems.  Green calcite helps with emotional balance and stress relief.  It also helps one to release old energy patterns,  that could hold one back from his or her goals and supports one who is going through a mental transition.

I had another green calcite pendant made as a Christmas giveaway. It was hand-wired in gold-plated wire.  This one's larger and even more beautiful as it was hand-picked, cleansed and blessed at the recent Taurus Full Moon.

This pendant will be given to the lucky one that I will be picking out of the hat on Christmas Eve.  All you will need to do, is to comment on this blog post and share the post on your Facebook wall by 24th December 2pm GMT.    I will be contacting the winner via email or Facebook message on Christmas Day, so watch out for it!

Until then, I hope that your Christmas celebrations will be filled with abundant blessings,  joy and laughter.
